So i got my controller in last week and spent some time pondering how to build it.
I wanted all the whistles and bells, you know WAY over the top, two tone buzzers, strobes, built in stir plate the works, but to be honest, I couldn't be arsed.
This is what I came up with.

10x10 gang box
2 gang receptical
Red light-Heating
Green light-Cooling

Very simple to build, but I like it with the coloured lights so I can quickly glance at the unit from the other end of my basement and see whats going on.

Looks good, can you provide more info on it? How did you wire in the lights? Can we get some diagrams and internal pictures?

Thanks
It works great too.
As for info and pictures of the inside, sure.
I will post pictures once the fermentation chamber is down for cleaning, in a week or so, but there are a lot of videos on how to wire it up online.
The lights i got from work, we have a large machine maintenace dept at work and alot of spare parts lying around, the lights were rated for 12volts only (built in transister)so i got one or our electricians to figure it out and all it needed was a by-pass and the right bulbs 110volt, however the bulbs were not that easy to get hold of, so when we found them, we got a dozen. I think he wired the lights direct from the Hot and Cold relays, then to the "switched" receptical respectivly.
Im sure when i post pictures it will become clearer.
If i was to do it again I will install seperate single gang recepticals, or have the cooling line on the bottem, I did not think about the style of plug that my fridge had on it, no big deal tho.
not to much to go on here, but it might help.

Dan
