I used safale04 to brew an ipa. After 7 days it had reached the estimated FG and had stopped bubbling for 3 days before. I thought, no problem I'll stick it in the secondary and dry hop it. So I put an oz each of centinnal and columbus into the secondary. 2 days later it took of and hasn't stopped bubbling since. it has slowed down the last 2 days. Is this normal? If I wait longer to bottle it will the dry hop make it taste off? All comments appreciated.

I haven't checked the fg again but the bubbles are coming from the bottom of the carboy . The yeast cake was huge when I moved it from secondary. Does dry hopping do that? It is my first time to dry hop so not sure.

Yes. Checked with hydrometer and readings were what I was looking for. Checked again and bubbles are rising from the bottom. Should I bottle?

Take another reading if your SG hasn't changed your beer is just off gassing, if the SG has moved down I wouldn't bottle until it stabilizes. You will be alright with you dry hops, it is not going to ferment enough to drive off that much flavor at this point. Just be patient and take some readings.

Small change in fg but minimal. Stuck it in the bottles. It looks great. Aroma is class but a strong alcohol taste at first then the bitterness comes thru. Strangely I craved more after the sample was finished. overall verdict is dry hop all the way as it makes sh$t beers smell great
