Nice, man! Are those banjos? You'll really appreciate the needle valves for controlling those beasts. Careful not to melt your therms!:D How's that frame hold up when you're all full?

the kettles were 1/2 full at the time of this and was tested with them completely full. its sturdy but a little wavy. they arent banjos but are the next model down.

tomorrow night will be interesting, but a lot easier than the process i was doing before.

Where'd you get those kettles? They're nice and not overly huge like keggles.
I'd like to get a set of 3 like you have, but scared it's set me back $500-$600!
If you found a reasonable source, and like the thickness & quality, please share!

Way to go with the aluminum! I really think that if people could get past the SS/Al debate, they'd have more money in their pockets, bigger pots, and faster heating times. But that's another thread.......:)

1/8" thermometers were gotten from northern brewer along with the rest of the weldless items. if i had it to do over again i would try to piece together those items myself.

burners from here, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000291GBQ/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

except i am using a 20 psi hose and regulator to attach to the manifold.

i went with these burners because i wanted the frame for my cooking surface, also they burners are just sort of sitting/locked into the rig shelves. this way if i didnt like it i could still take the burners and arrange in a linear 3 tier setup.

Nice job! I gotta admit, though - the way those turkey fryers are slid over the forks of your stand look a little precarious. I think your next step should be to weld or attach those burners to the stand somehow. I just used some metal screws and some hand-bendable straps from HD as hangers for mine.

Here's a few pics of how mine are attached.

to be quite honest i am still in the experimenting stage, although i must admit i stole my manifold idea from yours. i do like your setup and may chose to move to the fully mounted burners after i try it out on my first batch.

the fryers are on there very well and provide a nice surface to sit the pots on.

If they're really stable then you're probably fine. The last thing I would want is one of those shifting enough to upset a full pot of scalding water/wort.

You're really going to like the stand. Do you have a way to run a hose onto your porch? I noticed you had thermosights. Filling your MLT and HLT in place is nice.

Sweet! Burners work out good enough to mount them permanently -- enough heat?
Any other changes planned?

the burners worked great and i had them on a relatively low setting, i will probably go with sparky's idea and mount them permanently.

as far as other changes go, after i finish mounting the cfc and manifold i am done with this setup.

next i will start planning a herms setup with a hlt heated via water heater element. i have already aquired the kegs, but this is probably going to be a year long project for me. so this setup will do for now. i believe a kegerator is next on my list before the herms though.
