So my next recipe is an extract batch of Brewers Best: Milk Stout. I'm going to follow the recipe as described by the company / Palmer's important suggestions. I wanted to know if there's anything I should potentially worry about when brewing the Stout or additions that would increase its tastiness.

Nothing to worry about. Just give it some extra time to mature in the bottles. Stouts like to take their sweet time. Cheers!

In the fermenter too. Many of those kit instructions have some pretty crappy fermentation schedules. Make sure to keep it <70F for 2+ weeeks in the primary.
