Well according to beertools, it is a baltic porter, but I was shooting for a brown ale style. The recipe is an extract version:
3lbs light dme
1lb of crystal 10L
4oz chocolate malt
1.5 oz torrified wheat
.75 oz east kent goldings 60 mins
.25 oz east kent goldings 15 mins
1 pkg muntons yeast
steeped crystal, chocolate malt, torrified wheat at 155 for 20 min in 3/4gal water.
I have an all grain version waiting to be brewed this weekend. Can't wait because this is a great tasting beer.
