Hello everyone.

I am fairly new to homebrewing (Just made my 9th batch this last weekend), and I am working on getting a label going.

Everyone that samples my beer asks about the label... So I decided to make a "generic" label where I can add the information by hand about each batch. This will give a "face" to the bottle, as well as preventing mixing up of bottles of different batches.

So I figure I'd post the design I have so far (which I had a friend help with) and ask for any feedback about it.

About the language... I am from Brazil so the label is written in Portuguese (even tho the name is in English...). To help out I will provide translation (please bear with me... I will do literal translation, so it might sound "strange" in english).

Left side:
This bottle contains a precious liquid.
It was craft brewed based on our exclusive recipe, using the best materials, mineral water, and hours of dedication and care.
We hope you enjoy your RealBrew just as we do, with lots of pleasure and responsability.
Cheers and long life!

Right Side:
Ingredients: Mineral Water, Malted Barley, Hops and Yeast.
Adjuncts:
Lot: Bottling Date:
Best Before: Volume:

To insure the quality of your RealBrew, please keep the bottle refrigerated and on vertical position.
The yeast deposit on the bottle proves that this beer is handcrafted and alive.

Thank you, and happy brewing

nicely done and put together well.. I'm not a fan of the font/text you used with "real Brew" but that's just a personal preference. the brew pot is nice and the hops and wheat is great.

Sadly after 6+ years of spanish I can't read all the words.. :( :D

I like it! Especially the logo!

The logo is my favorite part as well, I think it tones down the "classic look" a little bit, and gives a distinct charm.

Thanks for the feedback!

Very, very nice! Really like the colors you used.

Some people said they think the color combination "adds value".
I think they will go well with the amber brown bottle.

Thanks for the feedback!

So, what kind of font you think would look better here?
I too was not 100% satisfied with this font, but I also didnt want to risk changing it too much and ending up with too many diferent kinds of fonts on the same label.
I find the "search for the perfect font" the worst part of designing...

Even tho both portuguese and spanish devired from latin, thus having many similarities, they are distinct in many aspects.
But don't worry, you are not the only one that believes Spanish is the spoken language in Brazil =)

Thanks for the feedback, mutch appreciated :tank:

LIke I said it's a personal thing. maybe when I have a little more down time I'll go through some fonts and place them side by side like you did w/ the 'R B' on the brew pot and see what I like. then show you.. But can't promis anything right now. ;)
