After a year of homebrewing I figured it was time to get serious and upgrade from the mini fridge kegerator. Found the freezer for 50 bucks on classifieds and got some vinyl flooring from a friend who had extra from a job he did. I stained the 2x8 collar to match the flooring and also some pine trim to go around the lid and milled out some corners with some leftover 2x8. Can easily fit 6 kegs or 4 kegs while cold crashing a fermenter.

Nice work, especially the top.

I would suggest that if there is a side vent that you uncover it and allow some air to flow from underneath to keep it from running too hot.

Thanks, I left the side vent open and just spray painted it to match the flooring
