My attempt at a beverage similar to mikes hard lemonade
5 gallon batch
96 oz lemon juice

4lbs sugar

4 gallons water

1tbsp dap

1tsp fermaid o

Whole packet kveik

I boiled like 1 gallon of water and 1qt of lemon juice and used that to dissolve the 4lbs sugar, after that cooled just simply combine everything in the fermenter.

1.043 gravity

1.003 ending, 5.25%

I have a 5 gallon fermenter with a spigot, so for each of these different flavors I simply drained from the 5 gallon into a 1 gallon jar.

For 1 gallon of the lemonade, I boiled 1 cup sugar and 1.5 lb frozen blueberries and 1/2 cup water for like 5min then used a stick blender strained it and added that. That was a great batch.

Another gallon, I just did simple syrup 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup water boiled like 2 minutes and just pour that in and stir.

And for one other gallon, I did a ton of mio black cherry energy, super good. And obviously this will have a substantial amount of caffeine so do this at your own risk.

Obviously this isn’t some professional beer, I’ve only been brewing for a few months. I haven’t actually made beer yet only mead, tea, and ciders, and forgive me but this is my favorite lol.

There’s a reason Skeeter Pee has such a big following. I’ve done one each of the last two springs with fresh lemons and it’s ready to serve right when the weather starts to get warm.

@Rish I’m lucky enough to get fresh Meyer lemons in spring and have only used fresh juiced. I’d be hard pressed to expect much of a difference from juice concentrate. For me, it’s the novelty and it helps grandma put lots of lemons to good use.

Sounds awesome, especially the blueberry version it must have had a great color and flavor! Love the creativity with Mio for a quick flavor boost too. Great job for just a few months of brewing!
