I did some HDR's of my dad's truck for his birthday, and printed this up on a huge poster:

It's a nice truck but not a show truck. Just a real slick daily driver.

You did a great job. HDRs are sick! (in the good form of the word)

Nicely done -- he's gonna love it.

Sweet truck! What's he got under the hood???
460. Hauls @$$!

He painted it in his garage with Ford Ultraviolet - I think it came on '94 Mustangs and some Escorts or something.

Nicely done!

I worked for a custom rod shop for about 8 years (helping out a friend of mine who owned it), we used to ride out to a local shop that also was one of our parts suppliers and this truck always caught my eye...

I'm really more into the classic "Rat Rod" look than the shined up Hot Rods people are used to seeing...

Believe it or not, that truck is in prestine condition, there is no rust and has been restored 100%, it has the illusion of having rust, but really they just "weathered" the scallops and lettering to make it look old.

Can anyone recommend good tutorials on HDR? I'm very impressed and intrigued. Can this be done in GIMP? Not sure I can shell out the cash for photoshop.
