Wanted to share my Christmas project. I try to make something to give to family and friends each Christmas. Since I started brewing this year it seemed appropriate for me to make a beer themed gift. I brewed a Christmas Tripel. At about the same time I was making coasters so it seemed like a good idea to include that. Figured the glasses would be great to make it a nice package.

That is absolutely awesome. Nicely done. How did you do the tile/coaster? I've seen some ideas on Pinterest but would love your input.

Very nice I hope your beer is as good as your crafting,
Cheers.

You are not the only one!! I'm at two weeks carbonating in a warm chamber. I bottled some small bottles in addition to the 750's. I plan to test a small one next weekend. I'll pop open a big bottle before I give/mail the rest. I'm really nervous about the possibility that I over carbonated and that I'm giving away gushers. I'll find out next week.

Here is a thread I started about doing the coasters. I have tested these out for a few months. They look great still. The only drawback is that they are not thirsty stones. When the glass sweats it sometimes create a suction that is strong enough that you pick up the coaster with the glass. I've taught myself to tip my glass to break the suction if there is one. My sister-in-law could not figure out that trick and had one stick long enough to be away from the table and break on the floor.

I have some similar coasters that have somehow survived that same fate. still, they're beautiful. Thanks for the additional info.

I keg so no expert on the subject but from what I do know a big beer will take longer to carb.
