Mustgo Stout

I have some left over grains and hops.
I was thinking of using what I have as leftovers for a stout,
I am malting 5 lbs pale malt (I have plenty of Barley) so I could malt about anything extra I would need.
have close to a couple lbs of Carmel and a couple lbs of Choc malt left over from last batches
Have plenty of Willemite hops from my 1st year plants.
I will pick up some Stout yeast.

Thoughts, will this be a stout or more of a dark ale?

I do, along with the black patent and chocolate malts...

If you don't grind it you won't get much from it. You need the smaller pieces so the water can leach out the color and flavor.

so its a little hoppier than i would like, i used 1.5 of my homegrown dried Willamette, but other than that the stout flavor is right on
