Check out louisvillebeer.com/louisville-breweries This has a list Louisville and Lexington breweries.
I haven't had them all but I do really enjoy Bluegrass Brewing Co (Bourbon Barrel Stout), New Albanian, and West 6th.
My Old Kentucky Homebrew is a smallish home-brew shop in Louisville. I haven't recently been to Lexington but Lexington Beerworks may be of interest.
