So I've brewed one batch so far and it was a resounding success. Sadly, the financial crunch has hit me hard and I haven't been able to buy more ingredients to make another batch. Feeling my pain, my dad bought me a Mr Beer ingredient kit. My question is this: The Mr Beer kit makes 2 gallons. I have a typical 5 gal fermenter. Will 2 gallons ferment ok in a 5 gal bucket or will the huge airspace oxidize the beer? I'm dying to make another batch but don't want to ruin it in too large a fermenter. Should I spend 10 dollars and buy Mr Beer's fermenting keg?
Thanks in advance,

You will be fine. During fermentation a cloud of CO2 will form over the beer preventing oxidation.
