So I bottled my Mr Beer kit after the two weeks as per instructions. Didn't take gravity readings, didn't know about them when I did this kit. The beers been bottled for two weeks now, and I just tossed one in the freezer and let it cool. Cracked the seal and it isn't as carbed as I thought. The bottle was rock hard so I figured it was ready.

Anywho, the beer is pretty sweet and green and has some yeasty flavors. My question is: if I let the other beers stay in the bottle at room temp, will that clear some of the sweeter flavors or did bottling too soon cause an irreversible effect? I mean, the beer isn't bad, drinkable, just a little funky.

Thanks!

Cody

Here's a pic, not that it matters. Pretty clear though

Exactly! Leave them sit OUT of the fridge for another week or so and they should carb up. Also, once you transfer to the fridge let them stay for 3+ days before drinking!

WAY TO GO! YOU MADE BEER!

None are in the fridge. Just used one as a tester. Will any of the sweet/yeasty flavor clear up though? Thanks man!

Most definitely will clear up. If not, let it sit out longer.
