Since nobody asked me...here, in no particular order, is my list of movies that can be watched over and over and over again.
  • The Big Lebowski
  • Scrooged
  • Animal House
  • Tombstone
  • Midway
  • Apocolypse Now
  • Fargo
  • Bram Stoker's Dracula
  • A League of Their Own
  • Sandlot
  • Unforgiven
  • Kill Bill I and II
  • Pulp Fiction
  • Fried Green Tomatoes
  • Wonder Boys
  • Grand Canyon
  • Dave
  • Stone Cold
  • Independence Day
  • Summer Rental
I'm sure I've missed a few, so feel free to add to this list...please remember tho, just because a movie is good doesn't mean it belongs on this list. In fact, some of these movies are bad movies. The criteria for this list is that when you're flipping channels and you see a movie on, you're compelled to stop and watch it, even if you watched it three times yesterday. :D

Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. (You reminded me of that one with 'snatch')

and, of course....

MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL!

Definately Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. I would also like to add Happy Gilmore. I am just a Adam Sandler fan

Three more from me, and then I'm done:

Fight Club
Goodfellows
The Godfather, Part II

(GF Part I is pretty darn good, too, but I couldn't watch it over and over and over. GF Part III? you can throw that one in the trash.)

• Any episode of "Band of Brothers"
• Zoolander
• Super Troopers
• Star Wars IV, V, or VI

I haven't seen all of the movies listed but I'm pretty much actor driven. I can watch anything with the Duke, Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Clint Eastwood or Bruce Willis in it. Almost forgot Bogey.

Yes, and yes. I never get tired of either of those. I agree with most of these.

I see that we all have more than just beer in common

I've thought many a time that this was some sort of evil cloning conspiracy, but I never mentioned it because last time someone mentioned a conspiracy (kornkob I think is was) they immediately disappeared.
Uh, oh! See you guys (or not I guess). :(

ONLY if you put on Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" while watching it.
Now there's an idea. :) Should I have a white russian with that, or the dude's other favorite? I know, I could do both! Somewheeeere over the rainbow...one pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small...all we are is, another brick in the wall...tumbling along, like a tumbling tumble weed.
Sorry dudes...starting the winter solstice celebration a little early. :drunk:

Braveheart
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (so bad it's good!)
Pride & Prejudice (surely in the minority on this one)
Casablanca

Yeah, but your others are good enough that I might need to go watch P&P just cuz you said so.

It's fantastic, but I've yet to find a man that likes it. Their loss! (Mind you, I'm talking about the 5-hour BBC version, not the new one with Keira Knightley that sucks.)

And here we are right back to that lifted kilt stuff. :D

Well, in that case, Rob Roy! As I recall, there's a interesting interlude involving a lifted kilt in a field. (Plus, it's just a damn good movie!)

Did anyone mention The Goonies yet? I grew up watching that all the time. :)

There have been some excellent choices named. I'd add:

The Wicker Man
Porky's
The Evil Dead movies (either of the first two)
Lord of the Rings
Clerks
My Cousin Vinny

Raising Arizona
Millers Crossing

Yojimbo (Japanese samurai flick)
Sanjuro (the sequel, They were remade into "Fistful of Dollars" and "A Few Dollars More")

good thread EP.

i forgot Office Space (yea, that'd be great...)
(good call on the Evil Dead movies too!)
and Uncle Buck is on Spike tonight!

FYI, El Pistolero - you should be embarrased about Titanic! Ha ha!

I agree with a lot of them but here's a few to add - if you haven't seen some of them I highly recommend:
  • Nothing But Trouble
  • Army of Darkness
  • Donnie Darko (especially you, Walker)
  • Orgazmo (no, it's not porn)
  • Dark Crystal
  • Labyrinth
  • Never Ending Story
  • Dune (old one, not new one)
And some classics that everyone has probably seen:
  • Big Trouble in Little China
  • Conan The Barbarian/The Destroyer
  • Groundhog Day
  • Office Space
And I'd just feel bad if I didn't mention:
  • Indiana Jones - all of them
  • Star Wars - all of them
  • Lord of The Rings - all of them
  • Matrix - all of them
