Moon is a good example of a movie where a guy's whole world changes when he discovers the truth about his existence. Slow burn space movie (one of my favorite kinds!).

Oh yeah, I loved the yul brenner original. "What could go wrong". Such a great movie.
Is the serial good?
Phenomenal. The show operates on many layers (reality vs illusion, free will, fate, revenge). If it maintains its quality throughout the series, it will be an all time great show.

I feel bad giving spoilers even for an old movie, but yeah he had short term memory loss from an attack he suffered that killed his wife. So his life was an investigation to find the killer and he had to tattoo the clues on his body as he couldn't form complete new memories. But the story is told alternating from the future moving backwards to the past moving forward until the end which is the present.

Not so much about paranoia, but Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of those movies where perception vs reality collide.
The Parallax View is a really good paranoid conspiracy movie, not to mention spectacular cinematography.
