Mouse hover preview issue

I have a Windows 10 HP Envy (touchscreen) and I have noticed that even when it is not in tablet mode, I do not see the preview when I hover over a thread link. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to solve it. I have done many googlesearches and can't seem to find anything that helps.

What browser are you using - and have you tried Chrome instead?

I primarily use Firefox....it works on my work laptop (Dell PRecision 7520) but I have tried it on both Firefox and Chrome and even Edge on my personal laptop with no success.
