Just order the motor now looking at a vfd would this vfd below work for what I would need ?

sorry for resurrecting an old thread but i only recently came across this issue with my unit. can anyone that has done this conversion please share the actual model number of the VFD they are using? all of the previous posts seem to be just URLs and with the amount of time that has passed, those are no longer valid

p.s. - what gap setting are ya'll using with the jams? I never found this problem using 0.045, which i always had great efficency using in my Kal clone setup with recirculation.
 
I am running no sparge in a 65L Brewzilla. My rollers are set to 0.028". I use use rice hulls in every brew.
Jeez some people make this as hard as possible to motorise their grain mill (and spend a fortune for the motor)
Look for a motorised golf cart (you know the one that just holds the bag of clubs that you have to push but has a motor on it)
Take the motor off and mount it to your mill. The only thing is that these motors are 12v so you may have to think about how you are going to mount ti
