I wanted to try brewing a pumpkin cream ale, and since im doing only extract as of right now, I figured maybe I would just add a few cans of pumpkin and spices in the boil. Any recommendations or tips on the best way to do this?
 
You could probably ditch the pumpkin and just do the spices. IMHO the pumpkin itself doesn't add much flavor. I've only ever mashed fresh pumpkin though, never tried the canned stiff or added it to the boil.
