Today I wandered into a thrift store and found:
Charlie P's book (Complete Joy of Homebrewing I think it was) for $1.99
A Mr. Beer LBK and about 10 new PET bottles for $4.99
A Mack and Jack's pint glass for $0.99 - this is great since I have a clone of their African Amber in a fermenter right now.
Not bad for under $8 total.
And, unrelated to beer, a set of new waterproof Nikon binoculars for $49.
They had a second Mr beer kit too but I didn't pick it up.
It's not the $5 kegs one guy found a while back, but I feel like I got a good deal!
