I do full volume mashing right now with 100% RO water. I use Bru'n Water to calculate what I need to add to the mash. I put my full volume amount in the mash and mark the sparge volume as zero. I dump in my full volume water into my kettle and add the salts.

I want to try and sparge with a gallon or two of water. What is the best way to add the salts now? Should I get my full volume (which I do in buckets the night before), add that salts to that then take out a gallon or two for sparging? Should I take out a gallon or two for sparging then add all the salts to the mash volume and sparge with straight RO water?

Either works. The spreadsheet has options for both. It may/will impact mash ph, so just make sure you are consistent as you plug stuff in.
