I recently bought an all grain set up. It came with "the Valley Mill". I have looked everywhere (even on the Internet) and can't figure out how to adjust the mill. I haven't tried much on the mill itself. Maybe you just unscrew the screw in the middle of the dial? I just don't know. Can anyone that has this mill help me out?
Also, what was the setting (factory set) when you got it? The one I have is set at the middle of the dial.Thank you for your help.

If it is anything like a Corona Mill, then yes- the screw in the middle adjusts it.

If you pull out on the black knob and turn it you can adjust the gap. The shaft is eccentric and you can see the roller movingtowards and away from the other driven roller. I've got the same mill, but forget what gap range it can adjust over.
You can see the knob on teh back left of the mill in this pict.

Oh! PULL on the knob! Sweet! I didn't try that. Thank you! Do you know what the factory set was when it came out? Where do you have your set? Thanks again.

Yeah, pull is the important part. Mine is around 0.040". Don't think there is a "factory" setting as it is fully adjustable.

love my Valley mill to bad they stopped making it..
as above pull and turn set and push back in to hold, if it will hold..(keep a eye on it)I run mine around .025 to .035 and condition the malt before hand..

if your interested in a motor set up I sell you mine, a 77rpm gear motor.. its a little slow for the amount of grain I need to crush now getting up in the 100lbs range

I think I will stay with the hand crank for now. This being my first one and all. Thanks though.
Thanks to all who helped! It was weird that I couldn't find anything on the net for it.
