so i bought a brewers best milk stout extract kit and brewed it on sunday
as a base for a chocolate coffee stout but i wanted it to have a little bit higher abv so i also picked up 1 lb of 2 row and mashed that with the steeping grains from the kit i also added an extra 1 lb of lactose when i checked the og it came up to 1.080 cna anyone tell me how much of that is because of un fermentable sugars kit had .5 lb maltodextrin and .5 lb of lactose plus the added 1 lb of lactose just tryin to get theroretical abv

i added the extra 1lb of lactose to balance the cold steeped coffee and coco nibs i will be adding a friend made the same brew without the extra lb and it was way to bitter for my taste
