Thanks to everyone. So I called Midwest, they told me to try what one of the other posters said about checking the trigger inside the disconnect, it must have been getting lodged because after fittling with that, it started to work.

Great to hear! Makes me more confident about the keg setup I am expecting to arrive from Midwest on Wednesday!
