Just curious on what people have on tap in their kegerators I want to be diverse but also stay true to what I like maybe rotate seasonal beers. Do y'all hone in on styles to perfect them or have fun experimenting with styles and flavors? Or possibly both?
 
I can pm you mine which I print out for giving out my stuff if you want. Could probably gleam some ideas off it
 
I'm wondering the same thing. when I finally get my kegerator or beer selection down, it would be nice to have one of each extreme style (RIS, IIPA, Pils, Hefe, etc.) when I'm in the mood for different beers

Typically, I keep a pretty diverse and ever changing rotation in the kegerator. I do have some crowd favorites that I try to keep on hand, but typically I brew based on requests from friends and family and the seasons.

Right now I have my house amber ale (not my fav, but everyone else seems to ask for it), honey wheat, black imperial IPA, and a keg of cherry apfelwein. English ESB in the fermenter. Not sure what will be next in the queue.
 
I try to keep a cider and an IPA on tap plus bottles of others for friends. The cider because it is SO darn easy and the IPA because it is popular with hipsters, like my sons... Please don't ask.
 
I try to keep totally different beers on tap. I have a Robust Smoked Vanilla Porter, a Smash Pale Ale, and a House Amber on tap. I have a Hefeweizen, a Fizzy Yellow, and a Dry Stout fermenting. My next in line is a Special Bitter. Diversity keeps me from getting bored with any style.
 
One of my taps has my popular standby brews; IPA/white IPA, brown, APA, or lager. The other tap has a test subject, experiment, or something I wanted to try for S&G.

Which variety of hipsters do you have? Bearded, flannel, tight pants, socialist? Hipster diversification is incredibly entertaining to study.
 
Right now:
Pilsner
PA
ESB
Pliny Clone
Belgian Triple
Vanilla Chocolate Oatmeal stout
RIS
Aplewien
Sweet Cider

I normally keep:
Pilsner
Pale Ale
Either the Pliney or my IPA
A Cider
A Stout/Porter
Rotate the rest
 
Got three faucets right now, though keezer holds four kegs.

I always try to keep one IPA or APA and one lager on tap, with an IPA or APA in reserve so never out for long. Looking into setting up some kind of second fridge or freezer just for lagering kegs.

Also always on tap: a beer my wife won't like so I am always assured there is beer ready for me when I get home from work. :D
 
I set up a fridge with four taps. I have about 10 or so recipes that are tried and true that there is always two of those on top or so. Revys Kentucky common being one from this site. Usually an IPA or hoppier pale of some sort, and usualy a lighter ale or lager too. I kind of brew with the seasons, lighter in the summer, darker stouts and x mas ales in the winter. Or I just brew what I feel like-that's the beauty of homebrewing!

Oh geez! The kind with a waxed mustache and beard with a wife beater Lumberjack shirt and skinny pants with a chain to his wallet.

I'm pretty sure he only does it to get under my skin but boy does it ever work!

Oh, and he only drinks mede. His redeeming features are that he's the father of my granddaughter, he always gives me a hug when he sees me and always tells me he loves me before he leaves. I guess that makes it all okay?
 
I have seasonal beers I brew. But nothing needs to be specifically on hand. I have a bitter that could be the house beer but it isn't always on tap.
 
Currently: Coffee Cream Stout, American Pale Ale, PB Porter shares the last w/the leftover braggot from last winter.

Generally: A porter/stout, a pale/ipa, a flavored something experiment
 
If you're looking for advice, it depends heavily on your setup. How many taps do you have? The more you have, the "crazier" you can get.

For me (two tap kegerator), standard is a crowd pleaser (has to work for the non-craft group as well) and a craft-friendly. Generally the first will be my cream ale (current), wheat, lager or low-hopped APA. Second is often an IPA or seasonal - Oktoberfest, Vienna Lager (current), or stout, for example. Generally the more "extreme" styles (imperials or just less popular or harder to drink) go in bottles. Marginally less convenient at a party, but they stay fresher.
 
I have been trying a variety of different brews. The house favorite is an APA that I have made a few times now. Will probably try a 10g batch for my next brew to keep it in stock.

Right now I have a rye saison and a Golden Promise Galaxy SMaSH IPA on tap.

Why are you asking about taps only? You know, those who bottle also keep a variety of beers, but it seems we don't count. As they say, that's racist!
 
@Singletrack your right bottling matters. Just so much easier to keg. Bottling 50 beers man that's time consuming.
 
I like a style mix too. Currently Maple Bourbon Brown, CitraRillo IPA, BM's Centennial Blonde, Yuengling clone lager (was Hoegaarden clone) and Yooper's Oatmeal Stout. Next up is a Ginger Lemon Wheat and then another IPA/APA.
 
I like to mix it up We just brewed a porter and about to do black ipa. When friends and family find out you brew and taste it they don't understand the craft brew thing they are thinking of a light beer not something complex and artfully crafted that you took time to put together
