During a layover in Seoul last month I bought a can of Korean-made Max, intending to drink on the plane. I didn't pop the can until I arrived at my destination and decided to drink it before crashing for 12 hours.

This was the crappiest beer I've ever had in my life! In comparison, BMC tastes like the finest craft beers on the market. Max was pale yellow and quite clear. It had almost no head, and that quickly dissipated. There was virtually no aroma and the taste was flat and watery.

Thank God we live in a country where we can get, and make, beer worth drinking, Save your money and avoid Max at all costs. You'll be happier with mineral water.
