Thanks for the best hour of our weekend Paul... i'll leave it at that...

JL we are sorry we missed you... And we're sorry we missed Jeff and the rest of the later arrivals... really, we couldn't miss the wedding... thankfully JustMrWill took atleast one picture to prove that we were really there and not a figment of ptn's imagination!

We'll be at the next gathering at Paul's house... and we're not going to leave early. there are NO MORE family weddings!

Now, off to the wedding...

I can't believe 8 hours flew by so fast! It was a pleasure to meet all of you in person. Paul thank you for inviting us to your home.

Melana,
That apple cake was so good, that I would walk from Cambridge to your house if I knew you were making more! :rockin:

Wow, i just finished stacking th last of the chairs and was headed off to a shower and bed when I decided to check in. What fantastic pictures! Thanks, JMW!

By my count we had well over 30 people here. I have everyone's names straight, both board and real names. Will, if you can't remember someone in a picture let me know and I'll tell you so everyone gets recognized. And I don't think you missed anyone!

So thanks to everyone for coming. Hope you had fun. Alice and I certainly enjoyed having you here. We all got to sample some great beers, eat some fantastic foods and share a lot of laughs. Now I need to go to bed, I'm beat.

When is a good time for the next one?

Hey Paul just wanted to thank you again for throwing this little shindig. I had a great time and the food, the beer, and the company were great. I've only been part of this forum for a short while but I'm glad I made it out for this event. I'm definitely down for another HBT gathering in the future.

I don't think I mentioned my user name when I introduced myself but in case anyone was wondering I'm Marc - the one who was wearing the black Smokey Mt Brewery shirt and the ratty Red Sox hat.

And now for my Homer Simpson inpersonation.. "Melana apple cake mmmmmaarrragammargragg (with drool at the end)"

Edwort maybe the king of appfelwein, but we can start a huge thread on the Melana appfel cake. Sloan and were ready to create a diversion and sneak the plate into the car.

Awesome time yesterday! Great friends, good food and fine weather. Thanks, Paul & Alice, for your hospitality. It was cool to meet everyone, especially Hippie, who I feel a special bond with ever since he joined HBT a few years ago. Must be a hockey thing.

Can we do it again next year?

Jeff
(red Red Sox shirt)

He was brewing away and doing the most running around other then you. The rest of us were parked in chairs drinking, eating, eating, drinking.
Not that that was a bad thing.

What a great day. Beautiful weather, great beer.. All you guys rock...:rockin:

Paul, you were an amazing host...Thank you very much.
