malto dextrin in lieu of cara-pils

What is the ratio for substitution rate ? If I usually add 1/2 lb cara-pils to a 5 gal batch (all grain or extract) for extra-body, how much malto-dextrin powder would be an equivalent ?

malto-dextrin has a GU of 40 ppg, carapils is ~33 ppg
