I can enjoy some hops but am nowhere near a hophead.
I enjoyed a dead guy ale last night and at 40 ibu, I think that is about as hoppy as I would want to go.

It seems a large majority of home brewers lean toward the hoppier brewer. As a guy who loves heavy malty beer with modest hops, I feel kinda lonely.

Who out there prefers more malt than hops?

I keep trying IPAs in an effort to expand my palate, but I just don't care for bitterness. I'm not even a fan of pale ales.

So yeah, I'm with you, OP - give me malty beers every time. English browns, Irish reds, German lagers... give me interesting Belgians.

Me too. Love me some Oktoberfest, Double Alt, Bock, Irish red, Scottish ale. Never even tried the last 3 until I started brewing, then started trying different styles to see what I might like to brew.
