Just sending out a feeler. Where are folks sourcing malt these days? Im considering starting an online store focused on grain/malt. And eventually other items. Would sponsor and sell here.
Curious to hear what people are looking for. Do you prefer actual shipping cost or elevated prices to cover it?
I know shipping whole bags can get cost prohibitive. What if you could order in 15-20 lb increments and be near sack prices?
How important is it to you to order specialty malts or your whole recipe in one go?
If you could order only base malts would that be of interest?
If all orders shipped Monday or Saturday would that work?
I know the margins are slim so it would need to be a volume game but Im still interested in it. My overhead would be low and it would be a side gig to start.......
