Im looking at purchasing a malt muncher but I just wanted to know peoples experience with running corn through it? all I really need is for it to crack it and then run it through a few more times at lower settings

I was also hoping to run some corn through malt muncher for a couple of cattle I have as well and I think the corona mill might be a bit too fine

Most homebrew mills, including the malt muncher, are not suitable for milling (unmalted) corn. There may be issues feeding with the gap or issues with handling the much harder kernels compared to barley malt.

Here is one option, but requires a little DIY:

FYI, the crush of a Corona mill is adjustable. However, these types of mills aren't great for use with home brewing due to a variety of problems.

Info about mills here: Milling

Cheers
