Malahini Ale

Pale Ale bottled today. Got a full 18 bottles. Taste seems to be ok, pale color for sure. In Hawai`i when the word Pale come to mind we think of the lily white tourists coming off the planes. Especially in the winter. A new comer to the islands is a MALAHINI, and that's what I named the beer. But made a mistake on the label the IBU is NOT 37, it's 28.

I use to wander around picking up empty bottles along the road for the 5 cent deposit. Got to know a few families in the Wai`anae Hawaiian Homestead. I can report that the beer of choice there is not BMC but Hinekins.

Can't complain about Kona Brewing Co, there beers are OK.
