Do you guys have any good and cheap method for make BIAB bag itself?

I currently use small curtain for this, but is not is good enough for that purpose. Commercial BIAB bag is too expensive.

Ninoid, you mention you are using a curtain, which may or may not be good depending on what fabric it's made from.

If you have access to voile fabric there in Croatia, you can make a bag out of it with just a sewing machine, and it should be comparable to the commercially available bags. You don't actually have to sew it, a large enough piece of fabric will do the job (but not fit your kettle as good as a sewn bag.

Hopefully wilserbrewer will chime in with recommendations for you.

I live in South Africa, I use curtain lining it is simmalar to voil but not as pricy and slipery. It is 1.8m wide. I fold it double in length and cut it as wide as will fit my pot then stitch the open end with the wifes sewing machine. For about $5 I can make 3 and one will last me 2 years plus.

I use the same, but without the rope to close the bag, the contents are easily folded into the bucket. To solve this I have to find someone who has a sewing machine.

I found an ebay bag for washing machine under $ 2. It's not such a dense material as curtain, but I think that will be good. The problem is that it is from Hong Hong and it is known to wait months for delivery.

If someone will send me some material, I’ll gladly sew one up and send it to him.

I work in the cut & sew industry and could whip something like this out in a day.

Rather, if someone can provide a link to a reputable fabric supplier, I’ll buy a few yards and send him a few. I don’t mind shipping to Croatia.

@Ninoid can you get me the dimensions of your pot?

Thank you. I have plastic round pot 41cm and 36cm in height.
But I think postal costs would be too high. I'm going to try to make myself alone.

Stitching a bag is not rocket science. Sew to resemble the bag to the left in my avatar. Your 41 cm wide X 36 cm tall vessel would require a bag w/ finished dimensions approx 67 cm wide X 67 cm tall with bag laid flat. Best to use a machine, but with a bit of time and patience people have even hand stitched bags with success.

Hope this helps
