Brew has been in the primary for about a week. Checked the grvity today and it was reading 1.020 at 70 degrees. Terminal says its 1.012. Should I give it about a week and then check it and put it into secondary??

I think you just need more time. IMO I wouldn't bother with secondary. Leave it in primary for 3 weeks then bottle/keg.

Will that affect the clarity?? I want it to be as clear as possible.

No, 3 weeks compacts things down pretty well. If in doubt add a week. Also as you get more comfortable with your process, scale your recipes up a bit so you can leave the junk behind and get a full 5 gallons of clear beer.
