Im pretty new to doing starters. So as title states, made a starter Friday night with plans to brew Sunday and the brew day never happened.
Can i store the starter?
Whats the best way to do this? Should i decant the liquid off the yeast prior to storage? Should i make another starter again when I do get around to brew day?
Thanks for the help, i apologize if this has been asked before. I did a quick search, but didnt find too much.

I'd just put a piece of Saran Wrap over the top of you vessel you have the starter in and hold it in place with a rubber band. Don't decant, the starter beer still has yeast suspended and you might want that to settle out to give you more yeast for your beer. Refrigerate it until you get to brew. If you brew in less than 2-3 months you shouldn't need to step it up. On brew day you can decant most of the beer and pitch the bit of slurry or you could just mix it up well and pitch the whole thing. Unless you made a huge starter it won't affect the beer.

Put in fridge, and will be fine for a couple of weeks. Build another starter fron it if you leave it more than a few weeks.

Thanks for the responses guys. I guess i was over thinking it, its pretty much the same as storing yeast after a finished primary. Im hoping to brew friday or Saturday. I may make another starter to step it up again, just to get closer to 1.0 pitch rate.
Thanks all for the advice
