Based on the grain bill, I think you made a mistake on units of measure for hops and yeast. Did you mean oz and not g? And if you did are you really planning 21.75 oz of hops in 5 gallons of beer?

I'm doing a similar DIPA tomorrow - same grain bill, but with slightly less hops and fewer varieties. I think mine uses CTZ for bittering, and galaxy and citra for late addition, flameout/whirlpool, and dry hop.

Assuming you mean oz and not g.

What's the random 1oz of Columbus between whirlpool and dry-hop? I see the pattern otherwise, but that one looks out of place.

Other than that, it is a sht-ton of hops, but they're all late additions. I add extra light DME and corn sugar at the end of the boil to up abv and dry it out. I'm not sure what you mean by 1.5g of yeast, but you're going to need a lot more than that. I'd do a pretty healthy 1.5-2L starter for a 5gal batch.

yeah what kind of a $h!thead would do something like that?

I might add some sugar and be sure to mash low to dry it out more, but thats about it

Yes, I am a $h!THEAD, you must have been talking to my wife. Sorry G = OZ and disregard the 1.5g of yeast, it is a typo. The Columbus I had laying around and was going to throw it in there for the heck of it. I edited it to reflect the G to OZ change and took out the Columbus and got rid of the 1.50g random #. I was copying and pasting.

How much DME??? I was planning a mash at 152ish.

I scaled wrong and adjusted the quantities. Let me know what you think now.

Going from memory, I added 1.25lb of extra light DME to get SG up to 1.085. I'm debating between keeping it the same, or splitting it between DME and dextrose.
