Hey guys, so, I just started kegging, but am noticing quite a large head in my glass everytime I pour. I was told to try extending the line, which I did to 10', but I'm still getting the same amount of foam. Basically, I get 1/2 to 1 inch of beer and the rest is foam. I carbed my beer at 40 degrees using 7 psi. I'm also pouring at 7 psi. What could I be doing wrong?

What is the diameter of the beer lines. Also, make sure you open the tap fully when pouring

I have it coming from a picnic tap. The line is 1/4" ID. That's the
size of the disconnects.

The length of line and size determines what psi the beer comes out of the tap. 10 ft lines work for me with 3/16 id lines that are coiled on top of the keg. I dont know what length you would need for 1/4 lines but 10 ft prob wont cut it. Same principle as a fire hose.
