Last year I did a great Pumpkin Beer, but I used an immersion chiller. I choose to boil the pumpkin instead of mashing. I would like to go this route again due to it turned out great last year and just looking for the same. Well my setup has drastically changed, and now I use a side pick up and counter flow chiller. I whirlpool at the end of the boil and usually get a large cone that misses the side pick up.

Well I began to think with the added 60oz of pumpkin I am worried that it will interfere with my pick-up and/or clog my counter flow chiller. I briefly read about using some form of bag to put the pumpkin in, but just looking for some suggestions or previous experience.
