Ok guys a couple months back i made a Dude's SNCA clone (my first AG) and due to a a bunch of little crap comming up i just never got around to bottling. so i opened it up, Smell is great btw, but theres this white stuff just covering the top! Not just a little its like a blanket.

I really didnt have any problems with the brew, the only thing different was i used wyeasy 1083(i think), anyways yeast i never had used before. but anyways what is this?

You'll notice how everything spreads from that one fuzzball at the bottom of the picture. One cell started this. It could be a top fermenting yeast, but it could also be a nasty mold. Got a college with a bio dept. nearby?
