My awesome husband wants to start brewing and I'm looking for some locals to trade info with. So, anyone from east Tennessee? Around Knoxville?

Not a Tennessee local, but I want to commend you on your support for your husband. My wife wants nothing to do with brewing, nevertheless she encourages me, helps pick up things at the store, asks about my brew days etc. In other words, the fact that she's not into it, but still supports me means a lot to me. And it makes the hobby so much more enjoyable. Remind your awesome husband what an awesome wife he has.

i'm not around Tennessee either but like Brew-Jay, i commend your devotion to your husband. my wife is very supportive of my brewing and it makes it much more fun. hopefully you find some help for him.

Yep, i'm from knoxville,
Not an expert brewer by any means, but i'll help where I can.
The fermentation station is a nice little homebrew shop on Kingston pike, and wouldn't be too far to drive from Maryville.
There is also a well respected homebrew club around called TN Valley homebrewers. They have a booth at the brewers jam every year and usually have some good beer to share.
