I received my box from Patrick Goss last night. I will not be home to unpack it until Sunday though, so I wait in eager anticipation! I will put up a photo when I get it opened... I guess its time to start considering another trade...

Waiting to open a beer box? You are a rock. I hope you enjoy. Put the whole box in the fridge till you get around to it!

I have it in my garage, it fridge temp out there, so should be OK. I just got home too late last night, and wont be home at all tonight, brewing at a friends house in another state tomorrow. If I were smart, I would have brought the box with me, and we would be drinking it tomorrow, but then again, I would be sharing it, so maybe I made the smarter move by leaving it home? ;-)

I will be home on Sunday morning, and will definitely be anxious to open it. It should be chilled enough that I can drink one right out of the box as well...

Make sure to throw some answer brewpub in their if you are around Richmond. I visit from time to time when I'm in virginia. The brewer there is putting out some solid ipas....

Glad they arrived safely!! It was my first time shipping beer so I'm glad it was packaged well (probably overkill LOL).

Also to everyone here, please don't forget to leave iTrader feedback to the sender. This way they can have some feedback for future trades on the forum here. Especially for us first timers like me. [emoji6]

I would like to say thank you for starting this thread! This is my first time trading brews and I love it! I found the community on this forum is a great group of people! @mdsutton (whom I shipped to) and I have been exchanging various PMs and he was kind enough to send me a recipe of one of his home brews that's a home run and what not! This was such a great idea and thanks! Later this year, I will probably jump back in to do it again!

To leave iTrader feedback, find the user's name from a post on any thread and click on it, then select the "View Public Profile".

When the public profile page opens, you will see a link just above the "About Me" that says "Leave iTrader Feedback". From there you fill in the information and select the options from the drop down menus.

I think this should cover it.

Also do the Mike & Ike's go with one of the brews? LOL When I picked up the box and heard the noise from them I thought there might have been a busted bottle, but there wasn't. That threw me a curve ball. Hahaha I'll leave iTrader feedback later today!!!

Awesome. Glad everything made the trip. If you haven't had hopslam before, I recommend that. 98 problems has become one of my favorite "everyday" beers, since they started canning it. The Mike and Ike's were to cover up any sloshing noise. Sounds like they worked. I figured it was 99 cents of insurance so hopefully FedEx wouldn't be tipped off.

This was the beer package I received last week from Patrick Goss, sorry it took so long to find the camera, and I don't have a cell phone...

I still haven't had any of these yet, but I have a date with these and a Super Bowl this weekend...

I have heard about Spotted Cow many times on Podcasts, I am looking forward to finally getting to drink it!

I am going to have to put the Hopkilla in a keg and carb it, unfortunately about a third of it leaked out during the shipping. It smells great, and if I drink it Sunday, shouldn't have to worry about any real oxidation. I just need to get it carbed up... Great packaging though, nothing broke, and there was no external evidence that anything had leaked inside, plus, when I was done unpacking it, my hands smelled brilliant!
