I have always used dry yeast in the past with great results. Yesterday I brewed a pale ale and the recipe called for WLP005 so I went ahead and used it. My OG was slightly below 1.050 so according to the package it was fine to toss on without a starter. Im only about 18 hours in but Im not seeing any activity yet. Does liquid yeast typically take longer to get going? Im only about 9 batches in so still learning a lot. Thanks in advance.
