linden honey:
OK - so i've made mead before but i'm thinking of using linden honey for mead. Has anyone used this type before?
Are the nutrient additions the same [given I will make 3 gallons]?
My main concern will be the nutrient content of the honey itself:
so I am thinking of this schedule:
Initial yeast pitch with Go-Ferm
in 24 hours .5 tsp of yeast nutrient and .25 tsp of yeast energizer
in 48 hours .5 tsp of yeast nutrient and .25 tsp of yeast energizer
It should be interesting the see what linden honey turns out to be.
