Hi,
I'm looking to get into my first all grain batch (thanks to some awesome black friday sales) and wanted to make sure my tap water was ok to use for brewing. Or at least figure out what to add to it to make it better suited to the beer I want to make (a Russian Imperial Stout).
I know it's a longshot, but does anyone happen to have a water profile for Montgomery County, PA...in particular Royersford/Limerick area?
I've obtained a copy of the yearly water quality report from last year, I just don't know what I need to extract from it. It looks like they lump a few different minerals into "hardness".
Anyway, here it is if anyone wants to look: http://www.amwater.com/ccr/homewater.pdf
Thanks,
Ryan
