Lil' Sparky's Brown Ale with Rye

I've been making Lil Sparky's (boosted to the mid 60's) for 5 iterations and love it. But I'm thinking of replacing the oatmeal with 2 lbs of rye malt. Has anyone added Rye to Lil Sparky's? What are your thoughts?

I haven't made that recipe, I do like rye beers. It will certainly be different than oats.
