Likely infection, please advise

How were the cherries handled? Frozen or freSh? Also helps to keep the fruit submerged by gently stirring atleast once a day.

Definitely some sort of infection but might still be drinkable
 
It's definitely an infection- probably due to the huge headspace in the bucket.

Some would say to let it turn into a sour and let it ride, but I've never heard of an accidental sour turning out good.

I'll leave it to the sour heads here to tell you whether it's worth a squirt or not, if it were me I'd probably burn it with fire :)
 
Your looking at too much head space in secondary, and probably the result of some unsanatized cherries
 
I'm not seeing any mold, but there's definitely some bug strain having a field day in there.

Compared to some of the fugly brews found here, that one looks tame...ish.

Who knows, could be an epic tasting brew!
