Just bought 4oz of Hopsteiner Lemondrop and wanna do a smash type recipe to feature it. Anyone tried it yet? I'd like your thoughts on it.

What's the cleanest bittering hop I can use for it? Or should I just use the lemon drop for bittering? What lemon drop late additions would you recommend for a 5.25 gallon batch?

I would use Magnum for bittering. 1 oz at 10 min, 2oz at 0 min, 1 oz dryhop.

i've used it, it's clean. never got much of a lemon taste from it though, it's more like a cascade

Well I had some tettnang leftover from a previous recipe. Used 1.5 oz of that at 60, .5 at 20, then Lemondrop: 1 oz at 10, 1 oz hopstand 20 mins, 2 oz dry hop

We'll see how it is

Grain bill was 9 lbs 2 row
1.5 lbs crystal
