Leftover Hops

I always have a half ounce of this or quarter ounce of that type of hops left over on brew day. I hate to always throw them away but what can I do with them. I usually brew a 5 gallon batch once a month or so. If I put them in the freezer, how long will they last?

I thought they lasted several years in the freezer and better if you put them in something airtight.

What else can we do with left over hops? I am really starting to collect them.
