Well I started brewing last spring, with a couple of extract batches then jumped to all grain and it's been a learning experience with every batch. Here are some of the mistakes I have made

Overcarbonated by not measuring prepackaged priming sugar-measure priming sugar myself now

Lost 1/2 of first runnings by leaving keggle valve open and walking away while draining-double check valves are closed obsessively

Fermented at too high of temp- now using swamp cooler

Underpitched yeast- I now make starters

Didn't boil down to correct volume watered down batch-marked volume on brew spoon to be more accurate

Any other additions anyone? We can all benefit from learning from each others mistakes.

Exploding bottles from bottling unfinished beer that fermented in too cold fridge.
