Ive had a 3 gal batch of hella vanilla cream ale ferment from 1.058 to 1.010 in 2days and not one gurggle out of my air lock. Ive also had a 5 gal batch of cherry mead do the same thing until i dropped the cherries into it. lid seems to be tight on the bucket. i would think that a 6% abv beer fermenting in 2 days you would see some signs. or?
